Changing Trends Expected in the Food & Nutrition Industries

The pace of Mergers and Acquisitions did not slow down in 2019, and private equity is targeting the food and nutrition sectors, too. In 2019, Private Equity fundraising hit an all-time high of $301 billion. It’s no wonder there is so much interest in the space. According to Allied Market Research, the global flavors market for food and beverages was worth $12.4 billion in 2016 and is projected to hit $18.1 billion by 2023.* But with recessionary fears looming, PE firms are feeling the pressure to buy now and put this money to work. While it remains a sellers-market for now, experts are predicting this balance of power may soon begin to shift. Therefore, the time to take advantage of these favorable market trends is now!

Given our expertise in both M&A and the food & nutrition sectors, we can work with your company to achieve a sale, grow through acquisition, or obtain growth capital. We have strong relationships with many of the strategic and financial investors that are focused on these market segments, and we are confident you and your business will realize a significant value-add upon engaging our firm. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to working with you.
